Pictures from the week!

This week we focused on seeds and plants! We began the week reading The Tiny Seed and we wrote about what happened to the seed during the four seasons. Wednesday was Earth Day! Students went on a fun scavenger hunt and they could also make bird feeders or creations from old materials. We also worked on the 5 parts of a friendly letter. Our first grades are THE BEST! You rock!!

Here are our Students of the Day for this week! Each day, we are sharing a page about a friend from our class book that we made at the beginning of the year. Those students get to email the class a picture of them sharing something fun with the class!! Great job, sweet friends! We miss you all!

Happy Easter!

First grade was reminded of the Easter story through our daily devotionals using Resurrection Eggs. They wrote about their Easter traditions and enjoyed The Jelly Bean Prayer and a fun craft. Praying you all have a blessed Easter with your families! He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!
